Welcome to the first blog post of 2024! I had been particularly busy last year as I was serving as the Interim Chair of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic. The Longevity-Associated Gene INDY as a Target for Treatment of Osteoporosis
INDY is a well-studied longevity-associated gene. Reduced INDY expression extends life in a number of short-lived laboratory species.
