The tele-emergency physician system as a tool in preclinical emergency care: A stocktaking report on the quality of care based on selected characteristics
CONCLUSION: Currently, there still is a considerable need for optimization both with regard to the nationwide establishment of the tele-EMS and its design in already existing digital support systems. To be able to guarantee a customized continuity of care, a goal-oriented application and expansion of a digital infrastructure in the field of emergency medicine offers an option for guaranteeing up-to-date and qualitatively acceptable preclinical emergency care.PMID:38296738 | DOI:10.1016/j.zefq.2023.10.009 (Source: Zeitschrift fur Evidenz, Fortbildung und Qualitat im Gesundheitswesen)

Implementing systematically: To what extent can implementation science make an educational contribution to health care practice?
DISCUSSION: Recent literature shows that implementers in German-speaking countries can benefit from a training program tailored to their needs. International experience in the field of advanced training in implementation science for health care practice allows us to derive essential components for the development of advanced training for the German-speaking region.PMID:38296739 | DOI:10.1016/j.zefq.2023.11.007 (Source: Zeitschrift fur Evidenz, Fortbildung und Qualitat im Gesundheitswesen)

Experience report of two living systematic Cochrane reviews on COVID-19
CONCLUSION: In summary, there are similarities and differences regarding challenges of review components for both LSRs. It is important to keep in mind that the two LSR examples presented here were conducted in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, many of the challenges are attributable to the pandemic and are not specific to LSRs, such as constant adjustments of the outcome sets or changes in the database search. Nevertheless, we believe that some of these aspects are helpful for LSR authors and are applicable to other LSRs outside the pandemic context, particularly in areas where new evidence is rapidly emerging...

Participation in primary care research - From the idea to the constitution of a citizens advisory board
