The transplant coordinators' opinions regarding the decreasing indicator of organ donation from deceased donors in Poland
Despite the good overall condition of Polish transplantation medicine, like elsewhere in our country there is a shortage of organs for transplantation. The situation of healthcare is also in stage of development with problems like not sufficient funding and lack of personnel. Using the AMMS ( Asseco Medical Management Solutions) program to monitor patients after kidney transplantation
In Poland there is an average of 2.31 doctors per 1 000 population (according to OECD 2016), which is one of the lowest results in all of the European Union countries. With the persistent low number of specialists the quantity of patients and their medical records keeps increasing. In order to facilitate the work of doctors and to improve monitoring of the patient, most medical institutions decide to implement IT systems. Transplant Procurement Management and the University of Barcelona offer a Master in Donation and Transplantation since 2004. The aim of the study is to analyze the number of participants, their profile and scores to evaluate improving measures introduced since 2011, when the modular structure was stablished.Data is organized in 3 groups: number of participants, profile and scores in each module. The variables for the profile are gender, nationality and background. Effect of Vasoactive Therapy Used for Brain-Dead Donors on Graft Survival After Kidney Transplantation
Serum catecholamine levels and peripheral vascular resistance decrease after brain death. Vasoactive drugs are used to control these hemodynamic changes and to improve perfusion of the organs. These drugs might have a role in rejection or loss of the graft organ. We aimed to investigate the effects of vasoactive drugs used in the cadaveric donor care on post-transplant renal graft functions.
