Recent outcomes of surgical redo aortic valve replacement in prosthetic valve failure
CONCLUSIONS: The relatively high risk of redo AVR was due to reoperation for prosthetic valve endocarditis. The outcomes of redo AVR for non-endocarditis are excellent. Our findings suggest that patients without endocarditis, especially with acceptable LVEF, can be treated safely with redo AVR.PMID:38442916 | DOI:10.1055/a-2281-1897 (Source: The Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeon)

Is Single LIMA-LAD Bypass Appropriate for OPCAB Training?
Conclusion The early postoperative outcome of off-pump LIMA to the LAD performed by trainees was comparable to those by experienced surgeons. Single LIMA-LAD was safely performed by trainees under supervision without CPB. In order to master OPCAB technique, single LAD bypass might be a reasonable first step to get into touch with the technical characteristics of this special procedure.
