Composite haemangioendothelioma with neuroendocrine marker differentiation presenting as a pink-brown nodule
We report a case of a 55-year-old female with an asymptomatic pink-brown nodule. Histological examination demonstrated a composite haemangioendothelioma with positive synaptophysin staining.PMID:38095137 | DOI:10.1111/ajd.14189 (Source: The Australasian Journal of Dermatology)

Calcinosis universalis accompanied by symptomatic systemic sclerosis
Australas J Dermatol. 2023 Dec 8. doi: 10.1111/ajd.14194. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTCalcinosis cutis is represented by the deposition of insoluble calcium salts in the skin and subcutaneous tissue. Calcinosis can lead to repeated episodes of local inflammation and repeated infections, resulting in pain and functional disability, and even death. Here, we present a case of a patient with SSc who experienced calcinosis universalis and eventually died from recurrent infections at the sacrococcygeal calcification.PMID:38066726 | DOI:10.1111/ajd.14194 (Source: The Australasian Journal of Dermatology)
