Simvastatin in polymer bioscaffold for bone regeneration. An in vitro and in vivo analysis
CONCLUSION: The study suggested that 'PLGA with Simvastatin' has the requisite properties to serve as a third-generation barrier membrane with the potential for local drug delivery.PMID:35635523 (Source: Stomatologija)

Arthrocentesis techniques used in the treatment of temporomandibular disorders: Literature review
CONCLUSION: All of the arthrocentesis techniques described in the literature are effective as treatment modalities, none appears to be superior to others. The selection of the method to be used depends on the surgeon´s choice and experience.PMID:35635520 (Source: Stomatologija)

The impact of COVID-19 pandemic on patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes after treatment of odontogenic cysts with decompression followed by surgery
CONCLUSIONS: Results of this study supported that conservative management of large cystic lesions of jaws with decompression followed by surgery has favorable patient satisfaction scores and predictable to reduce the effects of radical surgery in COVID-19 pandemic.PMID:35635521 (Source: Stomatologija)

Orthodontic canine substitution vs. implant-supported prosthetic replacement for maxillary permanent lateral incisor agenesis: A systematic review
CONCLUSION: The results of MLIA treatment with SC were more favorable esthetically, but the difference was not statistically significant. There is no statistically significant data related to periodontal health, and neither of the treatment methods caused TMJ or occlusion morphology disorders. If both methods are available, space closure is preferable, although high-quality clinical trials are needed to find more evidence.PMID:35635522 (Source: Stomatologija)
