Eyelid molluscum contagiosum presenting as a giant solitary ulcerating mass
We report a case of an eyelid molluscum contagiosum in a 5-year-old boy with no risk factors and a 2-week history of a large localized ulcerating mass of the left upper eyelid. The mass was totally excised, and diagnosis of molluscum contagiosum was confirmed in the histopathology study. Microscopic examination revealed enlarged keratinocytes, and acquired eosinophilic Henderson-Patterson inclusion bodies were also detected. Just another metastatic carcinoid tumour to the uveal tract
We describe the clinic, image, and histopathologic features of a well differentiated neuroendocrine carcinoma (carcinoid tumour) metastatic to choroid and ciliary body in a 52-year-old Mexican Mestizo man. The ophthalmologic examination showed an inferior choroidal mass accompanied by exudative retinal detachment. Ultrasound B-Scan study revealed a diffuse thickened choroid with overlying serous retinal detachment, ultrasound A-Scan revealed a high internal reflectivity solid lesion. Unilateral central retinal vein occlusion as a first manifestation of diabetes mellitus in a ten-year-old girl
We present a case of CRVO as the first manifestation of diabetes mellitus in a ten-year-old girl. The associated macular edema was managed successfully with a single injection of Ranibizumab. Does the addition of hyaluronidase improve the quality of peribulbar anesthesia in cataract surgery? – A randomized double blinded study

Spontaneous breakage of intracorneal ring segments (ICRS) 8 years after implantation
We present a case of spontaneous in situ breakage of intracorneal ring segments (ICRSs) 8 years after their implantation in a patient with keratoconus. The patient presented to our clinic with a red and painful right eye that had not improved despite topical steroids and antibiotics. The decision was made to explant the broken ICRSs from the cornea and send them for laboratory analyses, by which manufacturer defects were excluded. Comparison of conjunctival autograft and conjunctival transposition flap techniques in primary pterygium surgery
ConclusionBoth conjunctival transpositional flap and conjunctival autograft techniques have same results in terms of pterygium recurrence and surgery complications in the treatment of primary pterygium. Surgery time in conjunctival transpositional flap technique is significantly shorter. Conjunctival transpositional flap technique may be a good alternative method for primary pterygıum surgery. Prevalence of keratoconus among patients seeking laser vision correction in Taif area of Saudi Arabia
ConclusionHigh prevalence of keratoconus was found among patients seeking LVC.
