Prolonged institutionalization, mental disorders and violence: a scientific review on the topic
This study is a review of institutionalization, mental disorders and violence. A systematic search was performed in major databases, focusing on studies from the last twenty-two years. The results were divided into two groups: ‘ studies on factors related to the risk of violence/prediction and institutionalization ’ and ‘ studies on the risk of violence and deinstitutionalization/inadequate mental treatment ’ . Employability of people with disabilities in Latin America
This article is a literature review about labor insertion of people with disabilities in Latin America. It analyzed different documents (regulations, technical reports and papers). The results show the existence of a legal frame in the region for inclusion of people with disabilities. However, unemployment, poverty, inequality, and lack of opportunities affect this group. Psychosocial impact of COVID-19 self-isolation on the Brazilian population: a preliminary cross-sectional analysis

Resumen Se presentan los resultados de un estudio dirigido a conocer las narrativas sobre la maternidad y el entramado de sentidos atribuidos a las prestaciones de un sistema estatal de atenci ón en salud infantil, en un grupo de usuarias en la ciudad de Santiago de Chile. Por medio de una estrategia cualitativa-narrativa, se exponen tres narrativas sobre la maternidad en el contexto de intervención: conversión, emprendedora y ambivalente. Abstract We investigated fat women ’ s perceptions of their own bodies and their experiences with weight-related discriminations, and how these situations affected their well-being.
