Correlation between functional independence and risk of falls in older adults at three long-term care facilities
Conclusion The more independent the older adult is, the lower the risk of falls. Therefore, it is necessary to plan individualized care, considering its peculiarities and limitations, so that older adults can preserve their functional independence for longer. Work-related psychosocial risks of the Family Health nurse and management strategies
Conclusion The study should provoke the reflection of nurses about the eventual presence of risks in their work and contribute to fill knowledge production gaps in the area. It also provides subsidies for health managers ’ knowledge of the psychosocial risks to which these professionals are exposed, with a view to adopting measures. Interface between accreditation and patient safety: nursing team perspectives
Conclusion It was concluded that the investigated relationship was shown to be both dependent, as accreditation is a bridge for specific improvements, as well as independent, since patient safety goes beyond the certification process itself.
