[Work accidents with biological material occurred in municipalities of Minas Gerais].
Abstract The study aimed to identify the profile accidents involving exposure to biological material occurring in Minas Gerais. A descriptive study carried out by querying the Information System for Notifiable Diseases, 50 cities in south of Minas Gerais State, Brazil, in the period of 2007-2011. [Microbial contamination of cuffs lab coats during health care].

[Health status of nursing workers in functional retraining and readaptation].
Abstract Cross-sectional descriptive study aimed to assess the health status of nursing staff retrained due to illness of a public university hospital in northern Paraná, Brazil. [Functional capacity of elderly patients attended in SUS primary healthcare units].
This study aimed to analyze the functional capacity of elderly registered in Basic Health Units of Guarapuava-PR, Brazil. [Neonatal nursing: the meaning of existential caring in intensive care unit].
This study, in a Heideggerian phenomenological approach, aimed to reveal the existential sense of caring for mothers of premature babies admitted to Neonatal Intensive Care Units. After approval by the Research Ethics Committee, it was conducted interviews with nine mothers. [Drug use, blood glucose and body mass index in patients with diabetes mellitus].
amasceno MM Abstract This research aimed to relate medication use with blood glucose and body mass index in subjects with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It was performed a cross-sectional study, between January and July 2009, at the homes of 437 users of 12 health centers in Fortaleza-CE. We administered a survey about blood glucose, body mass index and medication use. Approximately 99% of study subjects with altered glucose classified as not using daily calcium (p = 0.04). [Demand-Control model and occupational stress among nursing professionals: integrative review].
This study aimed to know, through an integrative review of the literature, the scientific production about the Demand Control Model to investigation occupational stress among nursing professionals from 2000 to 2011.Of the 16 selected studies, five were published in 2009.
