Ultra-widefield optical coherence tomography for retinal detachment with proliferative vitreoretinopathy
Conclusion: Ultra-widefield optical coherence tomography can be used to examine the spatial relationship between a proliferative membrane and the retina in eyes with proliferative vitreoretinopathy even when the preoperative fundus images obtained by conventional methods are not clear. Patient with unilateral choroidal and serous retinal detachment with a history of treated prostate cancer and untreated sarcoidosis
Conclusion: Ocular sarcoidosis can involve any part of the eye and its adnexal tissues and may cause uveitis, episcleritis, scleritis, eyelid abnormalities, conjunctival granuloma, optic neuropathy, lacrimal gland enlargement, and orbital inflammation. Most patients with ophthalmic sarcoidosis have evidence of systemic involvement at the time of the initial examination and have bilateral ocular presentation. We present here the unique case of a 67-year-old man with unilateral 360-degree choroidal detachment and serous retinal detachment as an ocular presentation of sarcoidosis. Two-year follow-up of a retinal astrocytic hamartoma imaged by optical coherence tomography angiography
Conclusion: Optical coherence tomography angiography is helpful not only for the diagnosis and follow-up of such rare tumors, but also it gives insights as to how these tumors develop and how they affect surrounding structures. (Source: Retinal Cases and Brief Reports)

Multimodal imaging in hellp-related chorioretinopathy
Conclusion: Serous retinal detachments during pregnancy can be the leading sign of HELLP syndrome—a potentially life-threatening condition. Spectral domain optical coherence tomography is a noninvasive and useful tool for its diagnosis and follow-up. ICG is important to confirm the choroidal ischemia and choroidal vascular abnormalities, underlying conditions leading to main sign of HELLP syndrome in the eye. Hair dye-induced retinopathy mimicking mek-inhibitor retinopathy
Conclusion: Hair dyes containing aromatic amines can be responsible for bilateral toxic retinopathy mimicking MEK-inhibitor retinopathy. (Source: Retinal Cases and Brief Reports)

Varix of a vortex vein ampulla induced by nodular scleritis
Conclusion: This report suggests that nodular posterior scleritis can induce a vortex vein ampulla varix and contributes to a better understanding of the pathophysiology of this entity. We further suggest that in a diagnostic puzzling scenario the inflammatory syndrome should be treated before attempting to perform a chorioretinal biopsy. (Source: Retinal Cases and Brief Reports)

A simple, inexpensive, “modified lasso” for removal of smooth, spherical intraocular foreign bodies
Conclusion: A simple, readily available basket can be constructed for the effective removal of spherical foreign bodies which are difficult to grasp. (Source: Retinal Cases and Brief Reports)

Anatomic and functional improvement of a drusenoid pigment epithelial detachment: a case report
Conclusion: Drusenoid pigment epithelial detachments can resolve without treatment. Low luminance visual acuity seems to correlate with the anatomic improvement and can improve spontaneously by more than six lines of vision. (Source: Retinal Cases and Brief Reports)

High-powered blue-light laser-induced maculopathy in an adolescent: multi-modal imaging, evolution, and management
Conclusion: High-powered lasers can induce significant disruption of retinal layers, inflammatory debris, and full-thickness macular holes with momentary exposure that, despite poor anatomic prognostic factors, can have successful surgical outcomes. (Source: Retinal Cases and Brief Reports)

Case of bilateral choroidal detachments in graft-versus-host disease and hypoalbuminaemia after reduced-intensity allogeneic bone marrow stem cell transplantation
Conclusion: Choroidal detachment is a possible complication of hypoalbuminemia and graft-versus-host disease. Hypoalbuminemia causing a reduction in the gradient for transscleral diffusion of albumin or graft-versus-host disease–related immune reaction is a possible mechanism of this complication. Venous stasis retinopathy secondary to myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-positive optic neuritis
Conclusion: Venous stasis retinopathy may be secondary to myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein-IgG optic neuritis due to reduced venous outflow from significant optic nerve edema. This may be a poor prognostic factor and a marker for more severe optic nerve inflammation. (Source: Retinal Cases and Brief Reports)

Swept-source optical coherence tomography angiography findings in a case of pachychoroid neovasculopathy in retinitis pigmentosa
Conclusion: Our case reports the uncommon association of RP with pachychoroid neovasculopathy. Swept-source optical coherence angiography proved to be a useful imaging technique for the diagnosis and follow-up of this condition. Intravitreal bevacizumab represents an effective treatment for choroidal neovascularization associated with RP. (Source: Retinal Cases and Brief Reports)
