Determination of exercise attitudes of women of reproductive age in pregnancy
CONCLUSION: In the study, it was observed that the participants had positive attitudes towards exercise during pregnancy, although their knowledge and behaviors were insufficient. Women's attitudes towards exercise should be determined by health professionals and women's positive attitudes, knowledge and behaviors should be improved by organizing trainings and exercise programs starting from pre-pregnancy.PMID:38495928 | PMC:PMC10940935 | DOI:10.1016/j.eurox.2024.100294 (Source: Reproductive Biology)

History of HPV in HPV-positive elderly women
CONCLUSION: Surprisingly few of the elderly women thus seem to have a history with the same or any HPV infection the years before being diagnosed with an HPV infection and dysplasia. The significance of an HPV infection for dysplasia development in elderly women is still not fully understood.PMID:38496379 | PMC:PMC10944087 | DOI:10.1016/j.eurox.2024.100297 (Source: Reproductive Biology)

Mesh-less laparoscopic extraperitoneal linear suspension treatment of vaginal vault prolapse
CONCLUSION: The mesh-less laparoscopic extraperitoneal linear suspension technique avoids the use of implantable synthetic mesh. It has been shown to lead to favorable postoperative outcomes, considerable patient contentment, and low complication rates. It offers a new, cost-effective treatment option for PHVP patients.PMID:38493551 | DOI:10.1016/j.ejogrb.2024.02.043 (Source: Reproductive Biology)

Major placenta previa among patients with and without previous cesarean section: Maternal characteristics, outcomes and risk factors
CONCLUSION: (1) Patients with combined existence of major PP and previous CS had significantly higher rates of adverse maternal outcomes (2) Alone, prior CS in major PP patients increased the Odds Ratios of cesarean hysterectomy, urinary tract injuries, diagnosis of PAS, excessive intra-operative bleeding and repeated packed RBCs transfusions. (3) Among our PP patients with previous CS, the increased rate and OR of PAS diagnosis could in-part explain the adverse maternal outcomes.PMID:38493552 | DOI:10.1016/j.ejogrb.2024.03.012 (Source: Reproductive Biology)

Pregnancy and obstetric outcomes of dichorionic triamniotic triplet pregnancies with selective foetal reduction after assisted reproductive technology
CONCLUSION: The DCTA-to-DCDA twin group had better pregnancy and neonatal outcomes than the DCTA-to-MCDA twin group. This reduction approach may be beneficial for patients with dichorionic triamniotic triplet pregnancies who have a strong desire to have DCDA twins.PMID:38491531 | DOI:10.1186/s12958-024-01199-6 (Source: Reproductive Biology)

Association of maternal blood high-mobility group box 1 levels and adverse pregnancy outcomes: A systematic review and meta-analysis
In conclusion, overexpressed maternal blood HMGB1 levels were associated with adverse pregnancy outcomes, including PE, GDM and URSA. Further studies should be conducted to validate the efficacy of HMGB1 as a biomarker for assessing the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes.PMID:38492434 | DOI:10.1016/j.repbio.2024.100859 (Source: Reproductive Biology)
