Assessing the scalability of healthy eating interventions within the early childhood education and care setting: Secondary analysis of a Cochrane systematic review
CONCLUSIONS: Findings indicate there is a lack of reporting of some key factors of scalability for ECEC-based healthy eating interventions. Future trials should measure and report such factors to provide important information to support policy and practice decision makers when selecting interventions to be scaled-up.PMID:37990443 | DOI:10.1017/S1368980023002550 (Source: Public Health Nutrition)

Climate change and fluid status in children: Early education as one response to an emerging public health problem
CONCLUSIONS: In the face of rapid climate change, countries must act now by protecting, preparing, and prioritizing the high-risk group of children. Particular focus should be placed on supporting adequate hydration.PMID:37981836 | DOI:10.1017/S1368980023002562 (Source: Public Health Nutrition)

Chocolate unicorns and smiling teddy biscuits: analysis of the use of child-directed marketing on the packages of Australian foods
CONCLUSIONS: Australian children are targeted by promotional techniques on the packaging of unhealthy food products. Stronger regulation of these techniques is warranted to protect children's health.PMID:37962247 | DOI:10.1017/S136898002300215X (Source: Public Health Nutrition)
