Challenges and experiences in multicenter prehospital stroke research: Narrative data from the Rapid Intervention with Glyceryl trinitrate in Hypertensive stroke Trial-2 (RIGHT-2)
ConclusionRIGHT-2 demonstrated that although there are significant practical challenges to conducting multicenter ambulance-based research in a time-dependent environment, careful planning and management facilitated delivery. Lessons learned here will help inform the design and conduct of future ambulance-based trials.Trial registrationTrial registration number ISRCTN26986053.PMID:38019218 | DOI:10.1080/10903127.2023.2287171 (Source: Prehospital Emergency Care)

Comparison of intubating conditions with succinylcholine versus rocuronium in the prehospital setting
CONCLUSIONS: Prehospital use of either rocuronium or succinylcholine is associated with similar Cormack-Lehane grades, first-pass success rates, and rates of peri-intubation hypoxemia.PMID:38019685 | DOI:10.1080/10903127.2023.2285399 (Source: Prehospital Emergency Care)

The Coronary Reperfusion Effect and Safety of Prehospital P2Y12 Inhibitor in Primary-PCI STEMI Patients: A systematic review and Meta-analysis
CONCLUSION: Prehospital P2Y12 inhibitor compared to in-hospital P2Y12 inhibitor is associated with a significantly higher rate of pre-PCI and post-PCI TIMI flow grade 2-3, a reduced risk of recurrent MI, and no increase in major bleeding in STEMI patients undergoing primary PCI.PMID:38019694 | DOI:10.1080/10903127.2023.2284819 (Source: Prehospital Emergency Care)
