Test procedures to assess somatosensory abnormalities in individuals with peripheral joint pain: A systematic review of psychometric properties
ConclusionsThis systematic review identified that the level of evidence for PMPs varied across different testing procedures to assess somatosensory abnormalities for different PJP populations. Further research with standardized protocols is recommended to further investigate the predictive ability and responsiveness of reported test procedures would warrant their extended utility in clinical practice. This article is protected by copyright. Does the use of epiduroscopic lysis of adhesions reduce the need for spinal cord stimulation in failed back surgery syndrome: a short term pilot study?
ConclusionsIn this pilot study we observed a reduced need for SCS when lumbosacral epiduroscopic lysis of adhesions was used for patients with FBSS and MRI proven adhesions. These observations justify the evaluation of both treatment options in a prospective observational trial. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved. (Source: Pain Practice)

Home ‐Based Tactile Discrimination Training Reduces Phantom Limb Pain
ConclusionsTDT seems to be an easy, cheap, time‐effective, and safe method to achieve sustained alleviation of PLP and also brings about a positive change in body image. Rehabilitation ImpactHome‐based TDT could achieve a sustained reduction in PLP and should be considered as a possible alternative to established treatment methods. (Source: Pain Practice)
