The implementation of a pectus bar insertion enhanced recovery after surgery pathway: A quality improvement initiative
CONCLUSION: Employing a multidisciplinary approach in both planning and execution that standardized clinician practices and minimized unnecessary variation in patient care, an ERAS pathway for pectus bar insertion has been successfully established at our institution.PMID:38217340 | DOI:10.1111/pan.14838 (Source: Paediatric Anaesthesia)

Comparison of preformed microcuff and preformed uncuffed endotracheal tubes in pediatric cleft palate surgery-A randomized controlled trial
CONCLUSION: Microcuff oral preformed tubes performed better than uncuffed tubes regarding tube exchange during cleft palate surgery.PMID:38189558 | DOI:10.1111/pan.14837 (Source: Paediatric Anaesthesia)

Inverse ratio ventilation versus conventional ratio ventilation during one lung ventilation in neonatal open repair of esophageal atresia/tracheoesophageal fistula: A randomized clinical trial
CONCLUSION: There may be a role for inverse ratio ventilation with appropriate positive end-expiratory pressure to reduce the incidence of hypoxemia during open repair of esophageal atresia/tracheoesophageal fistula in neonates, further studies are required to establish the safety and efficacy of this technique.PMID:38189583 | DOI:10.1111/pan.14836 (Source: Paediatric Anaesthesia)
