Assessment of sella turcica area and skeletal maturation patterns of children with unilateral cleft lip and palate
ConclusionAlthough children with CLP showed significant delay in growth when they are younger compared with the non‐cleft children, sella turcica area measurements were similar for individuals in both groups. (Source: Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research)

Changes in maxillofacial morphology due to improvement of nasal obstruction in rats
ConclusionsThe results of this study suggest that long‐term unilateral nasal obstruction in growing rats may affect the growth of the nasomaxillary complex and reduce the SpO2 permanently. Therefore, early improvement of nasal obstruction in rats during the growth period may improve the SpO2 and cranial development and promote normal growth and development. Craniofacial structures' development in prenatal period: An MRI study
ConclusionsThe development of craniofacial structures during foetal period seems to show a close correlation between skeletal features and functional spaces with a peak between the second and third trimester of gestation. MRI images result helpful for the clinician to detect with a sample cephalometric analysis anomalies of skeletal and functional structures during prenatal period. Treatment efficiency and stability of skeletal Class III malocclusion with a surgery ‐first approach
ConclusionsUsing SFA for skeletal Class III malocclusions saves approximately 6 months of treatment time over 3‐step treatment; the stability of the segmentation group was comparable to that of the non‐segmentation group, a result that is possibly associated with the fixation of 2 miniplates.
