Stage I Breast Cancer in the Modern Era: A Retrospective Cohort Study of 328 Patients Diagnosed from 2002 to 2006 with a 14- year Median Follow-Up
CONCLUSION: The study results emphasize the importance of long-term follow-up and screening for subsequent malignancies of patients with stage I BC and support the need for using prognostic and predictive indicators beyond the routine clinicopathological characteristics in luminal-A patients.PMID:38185110 | DOI:10.1159/000536119 (Source: Oncology)

Prognostic factors of survival for grade III solitary fibrous tumor/hemangiopericytoma: a population-based retrospective Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database analysis
CONCLUSIONS: These data emphasize the importance of surgical resection and radiation therapy in the management of grade 3 solitary fibrous tumors, supporting the use of combination therapies to improve overall survival in this rare and aggressive intracranial neoplasm.PMID:38160661 | DOI:10.1159/000535823 (Source: Oncology)

Pattern of expression of microRNA in patients with radiation induced bladder injury
CONCLUSIONS: BC patients with fibrotic radiation injury have specific miRNA expression profile targeting pro-fibrotic cytokines and these miRNAs possibly renders to favorable survival.PMID:38160665 | DOI:10.1159/000535993 (Source: Oncology)

Analysis of Risk Factors for Febrile Neutropenia in Patients with Small-Cell Lung Cancer Receiving Carboplatin plus Etoposide Therapy
Conclusion Patients who received carboplatin plus etoposide for SCLC with co-administration of PPIs or PCABs and a BMI ≤22.509 kg/m2 more frequently present with FN than those without the two factors.PMID:38160673 | DOI:10.1159/000535822 (Source: Oncology)
