Topological alterations in white matter structural networks in fibromyalgia
ConclusionsThe current research demonstrated disrupted topological architecture of white matter networks in FM. Our results suggested compromised neural integration and segregation and reduced structural connectivity in FM. (Source: Neuroradiology)

Clinical outcomes of 3T magnetic resonance imaging-guided lumbar and sacral foraminal injections
ConclusionOur study showed that MRI-guided nerve root infiltration is a feasible, safe, and effective treatment option for chronic back pain. Precise positioning of the needle tip and accurate distribution of the injected solution contributed to the effectiveness of MRI-guided infiltration, which appeared to be as accurate as CT-guided procedures. Further research is needed to explore the potential benefits of metal artifact reduction sequences to optimize chronic back pain management. (Source: Neuroradiology)

Involvement of the default mode network in patients with transient global amnesia: multilayer network
ConclusionWe newly find the alterations in the multilayer network in patients with TGA compared with healthy controls, which shows the involvement of the default mode network. These changes may be related to the pathophysiology of TGA. (Source: Neuroradiology)

Ultra-Early “Fishmouth stenosis” and thrombosis of a Surpass Evolve flow diversion device following treatment of multiples right siphon aneurysms
We present a case of ultra-early symptomatic fish-mouth type stenosis (FMTS) of a Surpass Evolve flow diverter stent (SE-FDS) occurring within 24  h after deployment for the treatment of multiple unruptured right siphon aneurysms in a 44-year-old patient. The patient developed left hemiplegia and hemineglect, and was treated with mechanical thrombectomy (MT) and Tirofiban infusion. This is the first report of an ultra-early FMTS with a SE-FD S and its mechanism is discussed in the light of available data in the literature. (Source: Neuroradiology)

Management of Tarlov cysts: an uncommon but potentially serious spinal column disease —review of the literature and experience with over 1000 referrals
AbstractTarlov cysts were thought to be anatomic variants of uncertain etiology and clinical significance when initially described over 80  years ago. They are often detected in routine lumbosacral imaging and generally not reported in a differential diagnosis. There is increasing evidence that at least some Tarlov cysts are symptomatic and can have a significant adverse impact on patients’ health and well-being. Women are dispropor tionately affected with this condition, often presenting with long-standing pain and neurological dysfunctions. Significant gender bias has been a concern in the management of these patients...

Diagnostic accuracy of diffusion-weighted imaging in variant Creutzfeldt –Jakob disease
ConclusionDWI showed reduced sensitivity compared to FLAIR imaging in detecting the pulvinar sign in vCJD. Conversely, DWI can more distinctively identify basal ganglia and cortical hyperintensities, thus leading to imaging patterns more characteristic of sCJD. Therefore, DWI should be cautiously interpreted in vCJD diagnosis, with axial FLAIR potentially providing a more precise evaluation of the pulvinar sign. (Source: Neuroradiology)

Bridging  veins at the craniocervical junction: from anatomy to clinical significance in dural arteriovenous shunts
ConclusionWe reported detailed anatomy of BVs from the jugular level to the atlantal level, which enhanced our understanding of the pathophysiology of dAVSs in the corresponding region. (Source: Neuroradiology)
