External quality monitoring facilitates improvement in already well-performing stroke units: insights from RES-Q Poland
CONCLUSIONS: Quality-oriented projects facilitate the improvement of stroke care, even in centres demonstrating good baseline performance. Polish stroke units that consistently reported cases to the RES-Q demonstrated improvement in terms of door-to- -needle time and dysphagia screening. Sense of happiness in Polish patients with multiple sclerosis
CONCLUSIONS: The sense of happiness in PwMS was lower than in patients with other conditions. The most important factors influencing happiness included life satisfaction and positive orientation. Default mode function in patients with generalised epilepsy syndromes: from generalised to focal findings
CONCLUSIONS AND CLINICAL IMPLICATIONS: It may be possible to move from a 'generalised theory' about epilepsy to a 'focused theory' by understanding how various areas of interest are activated within default mode networks. Reversing dabigatran effect with idarucizumab to enable intravenous thrombolysis in patients with acute ischaemic stroke - a single centre experience
