Establishment of Anti-Human ATRX Monoclonal Antibody AMab-6.
In this study, we immunized mice with recombinant human ATRX and developed a novel mAb, AMab-6. The dissociation constant of AMab-6 was determined to be 9.7 × 10(-10) M, indicating that the binding affinity of AMab-6 is very high. PMab-44 Detects Bovine Podoplanin in Immunohistochemistry.
In this study, we immunized mice with the recombinant proteins of bovPDPN and developed anti-bovPDPN mAbs, which are useful in immunohistochemical analysis. One of the clones, PMab-44, is useful for detecting podocytes and lymphatic endothelial cells in normal bovine tissues. PMab-44 also detected bovPDPN specifically in flow cytometry. Cloning and Expression of L1 Protein Human Papillomavirus Type 31 Isolated from Iranian Patients in Escherichia coli.
We report the presentation of HPV31 in 100 cervical lesion tissue samples based on polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Type of lesion, age, and other characteristics were reviewed and confirmed by a pathologist. The sequence from L1 genes of HPV was selected using special primers. The gene encoding the major capsid protein L1 was used for subcloning in pTG19-T and pET-32a plasmid. Detection of Human Papillomavirus Genotypes and Major BRCA Mutations in Familial Breast Cancer.
In this study, we investigated HPV genotypes associated with breast cancer and its relationship with BRCA mutation for the detection of familial breast cancer. We analyzed 84 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue blocks from 38 familial breast cancer and 46 nonfamilial breast cancer samples by multiplex polymerase chain reaction and clinical parameters. Overall prevalence of HPV infection was 27 of 84: 10 (37.03%) HPV-16, 9 (29.62%) HPV-18, 4 (14.81%) HPV-11, 1 (3.7%) HPV-31, 1 (3.7%) HPV-33, and 2 (7.4%) HPV35. A Monoclonal Antibody That Discriminates Between SNAP-Tagged and CLIP-Tagged Proteins.

Establishment of a Novel Monoclonal Antibody L6 Specific to NOB1.
In this study, we have efficiently generated one monoclonal antibody (MAb) against NOB1. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and western blot were used to screen the hybridomas. As a result, one MAb named L6 (IgG1) effective in detecting the recombinant and the cellular NOB1 protein was characterized. Using L6, NOB1 was found to be upregulated in gastric cancer cells and tissues compared with normal gastric epithelial cells and nonneoplastic tissues.
