Biomarkers predicting oncological outcomes of high-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer.
CONCLUSIONS: Despite a long history of attempts to discover accurate biomarkers predicting oncological outcomes for HR NMIBC, contradictory or uncertain findings render the adoption of this ancillary techniques in clinical practice still unlikely. Future attempts should be directed to the development of prospective trials and the definition of standardized cut-off levels to render findings worthy of comparison.

Active treatment of renal stones in Pelvic Ectopic Kidney: systematic review of literature.
CONCLUSIONS: The choice of approach depends on different factors such as stone size, density and location in accordance with upper urinary tract alterations, kidney anatomy and operator experience. The choice of a retrograde, percutaneous or lap/robot approach should be carefully selected evaluating upper urinary tract anatomy and stone features.

Operative profile, safety and functional outcomes after GreenLight laser prostate surgery: results from a 12 months follow-up multicenter Italian cohort analyses.
CONCLUSIONS: To the best of our knowledge, this is one of the most numerous surgical series of Green Light Laser vaporization and with the longest follow- up. This technique should be considered as a safe and effective alternative in the treatment of secondary LUTS to BPH.

Pure Retroperitoneoscopic Extravesical Standardized Seeable (PRESS) excision of distal ureter and bladder cuff in radical nephroureterectomy: step-by-step technique.
CONCLUSIONS: Herein, we demonstrate a standardized retroperitoneoscopic RNU technique that is safe and reproducible, enabling the visual confirmation of complete BCE and facilitating LND. BCE trifecta should be a routine goal in minimally invasive RNU. Prospective comparison with the standard open surgical technique is warranted.

Night shift workers refer higher urinary symptoms with an impairment quality of life: a single cohort study.
CONCLUSIONS: Night shift workers presented worst OAB score and poor QL when compared to similar traditional workers. Long-term data on NSWs patients are also needed to further clarify this relationship.

The role of renal biopsy to improve diagnosis and management of small renal masses: are there predictive factors for detective higher diagnostic rate? The first Italian study of 100 cases.
CONCLUSIONS: RTB for SRMs helps establish pre-treatment diagnosis, reduce overtreatment, with a low risk of complications and high diagnostic rate. In our experience, we did not find predictive factors more likely associated with a diagnostic biopsy.
