Aspiration of endometrial cavity fluid at the time of egg collection
ConclusionsAspiration of ECF at the time of egg collection is another new option for women with ECF. It obviated the need to freeze all or aspirate of ECF at the time of ET. It was associated with a good success andcan be a new convenient option in couples residing in low income countries. More studies are needed to establish the best management of ECF. Prognostic factors associated with bilateral, microsurgical vasovasostomy success
ConclusionsIn this study, the reverse relationship between certain factors such as age, time after the vasectomy, smoking, post discharge complications, and a history of inguinal surgery, and the success rate of microscopic surgical vasovasostomies has been proven. Considering these factors, surgeons can estimate the likelihood of success before the surgery. (Source: Middle East Fertility Society Journal)

Antioxidants modulation of sperm genome and epigenome damage: Fact or fad? Converging evidence from animal and human studies
Publication date: June 2018Source: Middle East Fertility Society Journal, Volume 23, Issue 2Author(s): Fadi Choucair, Elias Saliba, Imad Abou Jaoude, Mira HazzouriAbstractIncreasing evidence suggests that oxidative stress plays a major role in the pathogenesis of sperm DNA damage. Oxidative stress was also recently found to modulate the epigenetic make up of sperm. Along these lines, a growing body of evidence in both experimental and clinical studies has implicated several regimens of antioxidants, by oral administration or in vitro supplementation to sperm-preparation media, in improving various sperm parameters namely D...

Effect of oral Tadalafil on endometrial thickness in patients receiving Clomiphene citrate for ovulation induction
ConclusionThis study showed that the pregnancy rate achieved with Clomiphene citrate/Tadalafil combination was comparable to that achieved by Human Menopausal Gonadotropins and significantly higher than with Clomiphene citrate alone. This was attributed to the improvement of endometrial thickness by Tadalafil in Clomiphene citrate stimulated patients. (Source: Middle East Fertility Society Journal)
