Repeatability of Open-MOLLI: An open-source inversion recovery myocardial T1 mapping sequence for fast prototyping
CONCLUSION: The open-source sequence Open-MOLLI can be used for T1 mapping in vivo with similar mean T1 values to the MOLLI method. Open-MOLLI increases the accessibility to cardiac T1 mapping, providing also a base sequence to which further improvements can easily be added and tested.PMID:38523462 | DOI:10.1002/mrm.30080 (Source: Magnetic Resonance in Medicine)

MR elastography-based slip interface imaging (SII) for functional assessment of myofascial interfaces: A feasibility study
CONCLUSION: The study demonstrated that MRE-based SII can visualize and assess myofascial interface mobility in extremities. The results provide a foundation for investigating the hypothesis that myofascial pain syndrome is characterized by changes in the mobility of myofascial interfaces.PMID:38523575 | DOI:10.1002/mrm.30087 (Source: Magnetic Resonance in Medicine)

Direct angiographic comparison of different velocity-selective saturation, inversion, and DANTE labeling modules on cerebral arteries
CONCLUSION: This is the first study that angiographically compared five different VS labeling modules. Their labeling characteristics on arteries and tissue and implications for VSMRA and VS arterial spin labeling are discussed.PMID:38523590 | DOI:10.1002/mrm.30085 (Source: Magnetic Resonance in Medicine)

Compartmental anisotropy of filtered exchange imaging (FEXI) in human white matter: What is happening in FEXI?
CONCLUSION: Orientation-dependent AXR and σ values were observed when using multi-orientation filter and detection gradients in FEXI, indicating that WM FEXI models need to account for compartmental anisotropy. When using trace-weighted detection, AXR values were on the order of or less than R1, complicating the interpretation of FEXI results in WM in terms of biological exchange properties. These findings may contribute toward better understanding of FEXI results in WM.PMID:38525601 | DOI:10.1002/mrm.30086 (Source: Magnetic Resonance in Medicine)

A vendor-neutral EPI sequence for hyperpolarized < sup > 13 < /sup > C MRI
CONCLUSION: We have developed and tested a vendor-neutral EPI sequence for imaging HP 13C agents. We have made all of our sequence creation and image reconstruction code freely available online for other investigators to use.PMID:38525658 | DOI:10.1002/mrm.30090 (Source: Magnetic Resonance in Medicine)

3D balanced SSFP UTE MRI for multiple contrasts whole brain imaging
CONCLUSION: 3D isotropic sub-millimeter (0.94 mm) spatial resolution images were acquired with the novel bSSFP UTE sequence within 3 min. It provided easy extraction of uT2 signals and PD-contrast for reference within a single acquisition.PMID:38525680 | DOI:10.1002/mrm.30093 (Source: Magnetic Resonance in Medicine)
