Efficacy and tolerability of metallic stent in patients with malignant prostatic obstruction secondary to prostatic cancer
ConclusionsThe stent was maintained for about 6  months with improved objective and subjective outcomes. The patients with PC, who had a poor comorbidity index and advanced PC status showed a tolerable maintenance period. Self‐expandable covered metallic stents can be used for PC patients with a short life expectancy and unsuitability for gen eral anesthesia. (Source: LUTS: Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms)

Uroflowmetry pattern in detrusor underactivity and bladder outlet obstruction in male patients with lower urinary tract symptoms
ConclusionsThe sawtooth UFM pattern is more common in patients with DU than in those with BOO. New parameters on UFM curve patterns could be helpful to evaluate DU and BOO without invasive urodynamics. (Source: LUTS: Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms)

Effects of enriched environment on micturition activity in freely moving C57BL/6J mice
ConclusionsThese results suggest that an EE may promote micturition activity during the active phase of C57BL/6J mice, and its effects persist even after withdrawal from the EE. Furthermore, an EE may mitigate dysfunctions in micturition activity, such as polyuria, during the resting phase in aged mice. (Source: LUTS: Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms)

Presurgical bladder wall thickness is a useful marker to predict the postsurgical improvement of symptoms in patients with pelvic organ prolapse ‐related overactive bladder
ConclusionsBWT at the bladder anterior wall and dome, but not the trigone, were decreased by TVM surgery. We conclude that presurgical BWT may be a useful marker to predict the improvement in OAB symptoms by TVM surgery in patients with POP ‐related OAB. (Source: LUTS: Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms)
