Bacopa monnieri (Brahmi) Prevents Cognitive Deficit by Maintaining CA2/3 VGLUT1 Density of Sub-Chronic Phencyclidine Rat Model of Schizophrenia in Normal Level.
Conclusion: Cognitive deficit observed in PCP-administered rats was mediated by VGLUT1 reduction in prefrontal cortex and CA2/3. Interestingly, Brahmi could prevent this cognitive deficit by maintaining VGLUT1 density in CA2/3 in normal level. Survival and Prognostic Factors of Metastatic Breast Cancer.
Conclusion: The important prognostic factors for overall survival in MBC were tumor size, ECOG PS and type of first-line treatment. In order to improve survival outcomes, patients with large tumor size should be treated with intensive chemotherapy and targeted therapy if HER-2 status positive. It is essential that early breast cancer patients have an awareness of recurrent diseases in order to identify good performance status in MBC patients suitable for active treatment. Outcome of Proximal Ventricular Catheter Placement in Ventriculoperitoneal Shunt Operations using the Parietal Approach.
Conclusion: Overlong ventricular catheter and large ventricular size were significant variables in poor placement outcomes in the present study. Pre-operative planning from CT or MRI can be used to determine the optimal length in order to improve the outcomes.
