Evaluation of Climate-Aware Metrics Tools for Radiology Informatics and  Artificial Intelligence: Toward a Potential Radiology Ecolabel
Radiology is a major contributor to health care's impact on climate change, in part due to its reliance on energy-intensive equipment as well as its growing technological reliance. Delivering modern patient care requires a robust informatics team to move images from the imaging equipment to the workstations and the health care system. Radiology informatics is the field that manages medical imaging IT. This involves the acquisition, storage, retrieval, and use of imaging information in health care to improve access and quality, which includes PACS, cloud services, and artificial intelligence. Evaluation of Climate-Aware Metrics Tools for Radiology Informatics and Artificial Intelligence: Towards a Potential Radiology Eco-Label
Radiology, with its embedded and growing technological roots, introduces a distinct dimension to the unfolding narrative of healthcare ’s contributions to climate change. Delivering modern patient care requires a robust informatics team to move images from the imaging equipment to the workstations and the health care system. Radiology informatics is the field that manages medical imaging information technology. This involves the acquisition, storage, retrieval, and use of imaging information in healthcare efficiently and effectively to improve access and quality, which includes PACS (picture archiving and communication s...

More Is Different: Large Language Models in Health Care
As of this writing, ChatGPT is the world ’s fastest adopted software application in history, reaching 100 million users in 2 months. Although this achievement is notable for a wide variety of reasons, it is especially striking when examined in contrast to the software applications dethroned by the meteoric rise of ChatGPT. Preceding reco rd holders, such as TikTok, Instagram, and Spotify, have famously leveraged algorithmically personalized content, manipulative advertisements, and a transparent "dopamine-hacking" strategy to bolster their user base.
