The burden of alcohol-related caring for others in Australia in the 2021 pandemic period
CONCLUSIONS: One in five adults reported caring for drinkers in the previous 12 months, with this associated with negative consequences for those providing care. Service providers, health promotion practitioners and policy makers should focus upon younger age groups, those who live in regional areas, and those born in Australia who are at greater risk of being burdened by caregiving due to others' alcohol use.PMID:38445854 | DOI:10.15288/jsad.23-00261 (Source: Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs)

An Expanded Daily Alcohol Expectancies Measure: Results on the Multilevel Factor Structure and Psychometric Properties
CONCLUSIONS: Findings indicate that this expanded 23-item daily alcohol expectancies measure is psychometrically sound. This measure is appropriate for use in daily or just-in-time expectancy challenge interventions and is suitable for use among 2- and 4-year college students who drink alcohol regularly and occasionally in heavy quantities and who experience alcohol-related negative consequences.PMID:38426685 | DOI:10.15288/jsad.23-00206 (Source: Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs)
