Progestogen only contraception in women with congenital heart disease
CONCLUSIONS: Because of their safety and efficacy, IUD-IPs and SI-IPs should be considered as first-line contraception in patients with CHD.PMID:38466189 | DOI:10.1080/01443615.2024.2320296 (Source: Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology)

Effects of vaginal dilation therapy on vaginal length, vaginal stenosis, vaginal elasticity and sexual function of cervical cancer survivors
CONCLUSIONS: Cervical cancer survivors who had not received timely vaginal dilation still benefitted from vaginal dilation therapy, irrespective of the treatment methods they received. Moreover, vaginal dilation therapy should be performed as early as possible after cervical cancer treatment.PMID:38466132 | DOI:10.1080/01443615.2024.2317387 (Source: Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology)

Metformin enhances epithelial cell growth inhibition via the protein kinase-insulin-like growth factor binding protein-1 pathway
CONCLUSIONS: IGFBP1 mediates aberrant stromal-epithelial communication in endometriosis. Metformin can upregulate IGFBP1 expression in EcSCs by activating AMPK, and upregulated IGFBP1 enhances the inhibition of epithelial cell proliferation. IGFBP1 is expected to be a therapeutic target for endometriosis.PMID:38466134 | DOI:10.1080/01443615.2024.2321651 (Source: Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology)
