CONCLUSIONS: It is important to recognize that patients with SUDD account for as high as 31% of outpatients with unexplained abdominal symptoms; these patients have diarrhea and a low QOL. Roles of Cytokines in Pathological and Physiological Gastroesophageal Reflux Exposure
CONCLUSIONS: "Microinflammation" in physiological acid exposure groups indicate that even a mild trigger is sufficient for the initiation and progression of inflammatory activity. Additionally, the anti-inflammatory cytokines were highly increased.
