Angiosarcoma of gallbladder, a literature review
ConclusionDespite the unavailability of convincing data, histological and immunohistochemical analyses play a major role in the diagnosis of gallbladder angiosarcoma. Nevertheless, more comprehensive clinical studies are required to provide universal guidelines for the treatment and diagnosis of angiosarcoma of the gallbladder. Visceral leishmaniasis misdiagnosed as an upper respiratory infection and iron-deficiency anemia in a 20-month-old male patient: a case report
ConclusionBoth in endemic and non-endemic areas the awareness about VL should be increased among the medical professionals. We also recommend that our colleagues take the same approach when dealing with bicytopenia and fever, just as with pancytopenia and fever. The medical community should make sure that none of the cases of fever and pancytopenia are overlooked, especially if we have hepatomegaly and/or splenomegaly. When sequential use of mepolizumab and dupilumab in a severe atopic eosinophilic asthmatic questions the role of eosinophils in mediating the clinical expression of the disease: a case report
ConclusionThe originality of this case resides in the description of clinical status and biomarker evolution after a sequential use of mepolizumab and dupilumab in a severe atopic eosinophilic asthmatic. It shows that mepolizumab reduces exacerbation and improves asthma control by curbing eosinophilic inflammation whereas dupilumab provides asthma remission without controlling airway eosinophilic inflammation. Diagnostic considerations in the clinical management of sudden swelling of the knee: a case report and review of the  literature
ConclusionsIt is still a challenge to differentiate between septic and reactive arthritis of the knee, and it is even more challenging to identify the exact cause of reactive arthritis. This case report of a human leukocyte antigen-B27-positive patient highlights the necessity of contemplating different, less common causes of a swollen knee joint as a differential diagnosis of an apparent septic infection, especially in the coronavirus disease 2019 era. Treating the patient for septic arthritis prevented any possible complications of such a condition, while treating theC.  difficile infection contributed to the substantia...

Prolonged hiccups induced by renal infarction: a case report
ConclusionHiccups can be induced by various clinical conditions. It is hypothesized that the inflammation of the right kidney infarction stimulated the diaphragm and induced prolonged hiccups in this patient; this theory is supported by the computed tomography images. This case report shows that internal organ diseases irritating the diaphragm can cause hiccups, and renal disease should be considered in patients with prolonged hiccups. Treatment strategy for heart failure complicated with complete left bundle branch block and atrial tachycardia: a case report
ConclusionFor patients with heart failure combined with left bundle branch block and atrial tachycardia, left bundle branch area pacing can replace traditional biventricular pacing for cardiac resynchronization therapy treatment, and the therapeutic effect is significant. However, multiple factors need to be considered when formulating strategies, including whether there is bundle branch block under sinus rhythm, the success and recurrence rate of atrial tachycardia ablation, the response of cardiac resynchronization therapy, the costs of different strategies, and instrument implantation issues. A renal aplasia case mimicking radiologically as unilateral renal agenesis in a child with spina bifida, atresia ani and unilateral undescended testis: a  case report
ConclusionsRenal agenesis and aplastic kidney are difficult to differentiate macroscopically and radiologically. Nevertheless, from this case report, we try to provide some interesting points to differentiate cases of unilateral renal agenesis from Renal Dysplasia which presents as unilateral renal aplasia. An intricate vagina penetrating injury with a 22  cm cassava stick in situ for 6 months: a case report
ConclusionThis case emphasizes the need for a thorough vaginal exam including the need to do it under anesthesia with good lighting even when ultrasound scan findings are normal. It presents an opportunity for one to manage penetrating peritoneal injury without a laparotomy in highly selected cases. Gynecologists should be keen as well to rule out child molestation. Challenges in the diagnosis and management of a ruptured heterotopic gestation following ultrasound-guided embryo transfer in low resource settings: a case report
ConclusionTo the best of our knowledge, this is the first reported case of heterotopic pregnancy in Ghana. A high index of suspicion for heterotopic pregnancy is required even in the presence of a confirmed intrauterine gestation following IVF-ET. (Source: Journal of Medical Case Reports)

Chronicles of an uncommon term abdominal pregnancy with successful outcome: a case report
ConclusionThis case highlights the uncommon occurrence of an advanced intra-abdominal pregnancies and emphasizes the importance of multi-disciplinary teamwork and placental management. The favorable outcome in the management was based on thorough assessment of the placental location, attachments and blood supply during surgery. It demonstrates the possibility of reduced risk of massive bleeding if there is a delayed removal of placenta with favorable attachment. This is particularly important for milk letdown as well as reducing the needs of blood transfusion in resource limited settings. (Source: Journal of Medical Case Reports)

Rare, late onset of immune checkpoint inhibitor-induced type 1 diabetes mellitus in a patient with small-cell lung cancer treated with serplulimab: a case report and review of the  literature
ConclusionThis case highlights a rare, late-onset adverse event of immune checkpoint inhibitor-induced type 1 diabetes mellitus that may be overlooked during treatment with serplulimab. The monitoring of blood glucose levels and early signs and symptoms of diabetes cannot be relaxed at the late stage of treatment, even if patients do not have elevated blood glucose levels before and during the middle stage of treatment.
