Social Inequities in the Survival of Liver Cancer: A Nationwide Cohort Study in Korea, 2007-2017
CONCLUSION: Liver cancer patients with lower socioeconomic status and more severe cancer stages were at greater risk of death. Prevalence, Incidence, and Treatment Pattern of Wilson's Disease Using National Health Insurance Data From 2010-2020, Korea
CONCLUSION: The prevalence of WD in Korea is 3.06/100,000 and approximately 1,800 patients use medical services annually. Government Initiatives for Research Ethics During COVID-19 Pandemic in Korea
CONCLUSION: As a result of South Korea's commitment to ethical principles in their pandemic response, the medical system did not experience collapses due to the pandemic, and pandemic research was conducted with careful ethical considerations. Twenty Years of Progress and the Way Forward: Immunization Registry Information System in Korea
This study reviewed documents related to IRIS's establishment and development. The Republic of Korea legally supports IRIS's construction and data collection, integrating vaccination data with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's resident registration to minimize errors. This collaboration also facilitates cost reimbursement and digital registration, promoting wider vaccination coverage.
