Is headache at admission associated with higher rate of recent brain MRI injury during malignant hypertension crisis?
Journal of Human Hypertension, Published online: 10 December 2022; doi:10.1038/s41371-022-00779-6Reliable clinical signs associated with recent brain injuries during malignant hypertension crisis are lacking. In this single-center study we compared the prevalence of brain MRI injuries between fully asymptomatic patients and those with headache; we found no significant differences, suggesting that headache is not associated with recent brain injuries during malignant hypertension.
