Neoadjuvant chemoradiation for non ‐metastatic pancreatic cancer increases margin‐negative and node‐negative rates at resection
CONCLUSIONSNeoadjuvant chemoradiation remains a promising approach for non‐metastatic pancreatic cancer for improving resectability and pathological and clinical findings. Computed tomography may not fully demonstrate the effectiveness of neoadjuvant treatment. (Source: Journal of Digestive Diseases)

Serologic, Genetic, and Clinical Associations with Increased Healthcare Resource Utilization in Inflammatory Bowel Disease
ConclusionsAnti‐CBir1 antibody seropositivity and low SES were independently associated with higher inpatient HRU, while CD diagnosis was independently associated with lower inpatient HRU in a cohort of IBD patients who required at least one ED visit or hospitalization. If verified by future studies, anti‐CBir1 antibody status may be a useful biomarker of HRU when formulating management strategies to reduce disease complications and resource utilization. Peroxiredoxin 1, restraining cell migration and invasion, is involved in hepatocellular carcinoma recurrence
Conclusionsthis study demonstrated evidence that PRDX1 restrains cell migration and invasion in HCC cell lines and that PRDX1 may be a potential mechanism in a UCH37 relevant pathway, further suggesting that PRDX1 may be a new marker for HCC recurrence after operation.
