Effect of different surface treatments on the bond strength of fiber posts to various core materials
Conclusion: Among the core materials, Clearfil Photo Core showed the highest bond strength with no significant difference from the Core Flo material. Clearfil Photo Core or Core Flo may be preferred for clinical use. Among the surface treatments, sandblasting with Al2O3 showed the highest bond strength. Investigation of the effect of different surface treatments on the bond strength between different core materials and fiber post (snow post)
Conclusion: Among the core materials, Clearfil Photo Core material showed the highest bond strength, but there was no significant difference with Core Flo core material. P or C core materials may be preferred for clinical use. Among the surface treatments, sandblasting with Al2O3 showed the highest bond strength. (Source: Journal of Dental Materials and Techniques)

Titanium implants coated with stem cells: A mini-review of the impact on osseointegration
Conclusion: Dental implants coated with different stem cells showed encouraging results in osseointegration. These findings will help in achieving better osseointegration of implants in patients with inadequate alveolar ridge volume, or healing impairments. The maxillofacial stem cell niches might be the focus of future research for improving osseointegration. (J Dent Mater Tech 2023;12(1): 51-54) (Source: Journal of Dental Materials and Techniques)

Histomorphometric and histologic evaluation of the effects of leukocyte platelet-rich fibrin (L-PRF) and nano-hydroxyapatite (nHA) on bone regeneration in rabbits
Conclusion: The results showed that L-PRF was a suitable option for the induction of bone regeneration with fewer remnant bodies. However, future clinical studies are required to assess the efficacy of these biomaterials in the clinical setting. Effect of central cavity depth and ferrule on the mechanical retention of endo-crowns
Conclusion: The presence of ferrule increased mechanical retention to some extent. It appears that peripheral reduction in the aims of gaining a ferrule may increase mechanical retention in teeth with shallow cavity depths. Comparison of XP-endo Finisher, self-adjusting file, and Canal Brush systems on the removal of calcium hydroxide paste from root canals
Conclusion: None of the finishing techniques could completely clean CH. The SAF, XPF, and CB systems showed comparable efficacy in removing CH from the roots. (J Dent Mater Tech 2023;12(1): 28-34) (Source: Journal of Dental Materials and Techniques)

Comparison of shear bond strength of stainless-steel orthodontic brackets bonded with different adhesives and bonding agents
Conclusion: The Denu adhesive can be used as a clinical alternative to commercial adhesives, such as Z250, for bonding metal orthodontic brackets. Moreover, bonding agents and adhesives from different companies can be used simultaneously. (J Dent Mater Tech 2023;12(1): 10-15) (Source: Journal of Dental Materials and Techniques)
