Conclusion: Spanish-speaking Latinxs with FEP are especially in need of early psychosis treatment. The campaign reached the community but additional steps are needed to reduce treatment delay. The alliance-outcome association in group interventions: A multilevel meta-analysis.
This study systematically reviewed the association of both the member–leader and member-group alliance with patient outcomes, and assessed the effects of several theoretically informed moderators. Change in eating-disorder psychopathology network structure in patients with binge-eating disorder: Findings from treatment trial with 12-month follow-up.
Conclusions: The relations among symptoms of BED are not static and change over time with treatment. BBWLTs do not appear to reduce connectivity of overvaluation of shape/weight (the most central BED symptom prior to treatment), but instead increase connectivity of dissatisfaction with shape/weight with other symptoms following treatment. The observed network structure of symptoms following BBWLTs resembles network analyses of people without eating disorders. LGBQ-affirmative cognitive-behavioral therapy for young gay and bisexual men’s mental and sexual health: A three-arm randomized controlled trial.
Conclusions: Because the control conditions were associated with stronger effects than anticipated, and given the heterogeneous nature of transdiagnostic outcomes, the study possessed insufficient power to statistically detect the consistently small-to-moderate benefit of ESTEEM compared to the two control conditions. A randomized clinical trial of acceptance and commitment therapy and the Duluth Model classes for men court-mandated to a domestic violence program.
Conclusions: An ACT-based group intervention delivered in community corrections reduced violent and nonviolent criminal charges compared to the Duluth classes. Domestic violence charges did not differ between groups but victim reports indicated that ACT participants engaged in fewer IPV behaviors. Conclusions: Despite methodological limitations of this study, results indicate discordance in PGDDSM-5-TR and PGDICD-11 regarding diagnostic rates and single symptom occurrence, while the factor structure is similar. Cultural adaptations of dialectical behavior therapy: A systematic review.
Conclusions: Culturally adapted DBT has been implemented and accepted among several racial, ethnic, and cultural groups, although there is insufficient evidence to determine whether culturally adapted DBT is more efficacious than nonadapted DBT. We conclude with recommendations for best practices for DBT researchers and clinicians, and situate our findings among larger efforts to render existing evidence-based psychotherapies more optimal for people of color and people from non-Western countries.
