Anti–Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide Antibodies Correlate to Ultrasound Synovitis in Rheumatoid Arthritis Better Than C-Reactive Protein
Objectives The aim of this study was to compare ultrasound (US) grading and laboratory measures in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Methods Two-hundred four patients with rheumatoid arthritis who received US evaluation for synovitis were included after excluding those using tocilizumab. The American College of Rheumatology Fibromyalgia Criteria Are Useful in the Evaluation of Fibromyalgia Symptoms in Patients With Ankylosing Spondylitis: A Cross-Sectional Study
Conclusions Despite a high prevalence of FM in our patients with the diagnosis of AS, there was no relationship between FSS and measures of disease activity or function in AS, suggesting that FSS and its components could be a useful tool to assess FM in AS patients. Rheumatic Diseases Associated With Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome
Conclusions This analysis represents the largest sample to date to assess PRES hospitalizations. It confirms that several rheumatic diseases are associated with PRES, including antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody–associated vasculitis, systemic sclerosis, SLE, and psoriatic arthritis. Predictors of Long-term Outcomes in Patients With Connective Tissue Disease Associated With Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

Conclusions The present study showed either a good or excellent US interobserver and intraobserver reliability in elementary elements and anatomical region. Serum Urate Levels of Hemodialyzed Renal Patients Revisited
Conclusions Under HD replacement therapy, the SU levels effectively reduced and persisted below saturation point, suggesting that the SU-lowering therapy would be unnecessary for patients on HD, but necessary in selected cases. Association of Arthritis and Antihypertensive Medication Use Among Individuals With Hypertension: A Cross-Sectional Analysis of the 2017 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System
Conclusions Among individuals with hypertension, those with arthritis had significantly higher prevalences of AHM use compared with those without arthritis. Higher prevalences of AHM use were seen with older age categories, although a stronger association of arthritis and AHM use was found in younger age groups. The Possible Relationship Between Familial Mediterranean Fever and Chronic Nonbacterial Osteomyelitis: Coincidence or Coexistence?
