Sex Differences in Resource Allocation and Access to Care After Sport-Related Concussion
CONCLUSIONS: Among 832 concussed youth athletes, female athletes were evaluated less frequently by an ATC immediately after injury. Furthermore, not being evaluated by an ATC on field was significantly associated with longer time to healthcare presentation. Glenohumeral internal rotation deficit (GIRD) in young and asymptomatic elite swimmers
CONCLUSIONS: GIRD is a relatively common condition in asymptomatic elite youth swimmers; In order to not overestimate this condition, anatomical and pure GIRD have to be distinguished. CONCLUSIONS: ATs are satisfied with web-based CE learning experiences specific to clinical documentation and may benefit from more CE offered in these formats. Educators are encouraged to integrate clinical documentation principles throughout the curriculum, during both didactic and clinical education.
