Frequency of idiopathic intracranial hypertension with ultrasound in patients with fibromyalgia: Relation with function, central sensitization, and neuropathic pain
ConclusionThis study unveils a substantial occurrence (67.5%) of IIH in FMS patients, suggesting shared pathophysiological mechanisms contributing to symptoms like fatigue, headache, and cognitive dysfunction. Additionally, these findings implicate heightened functional impairment, CS, headache, and fatigue in FMS patients with IIH. (Source: International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases)

Analyzing the risk of osteoporosis and fracture in rheumatoid arthritis patients who have been treated with various biologics
ConclusionThe treatment option has emerged as a critical determinant in the context of future osteoporosis and osteoporotic fracture risks among RA. These findings offer a valuable resource for clinicians, empowering them to tailor bespoke treatment strategies for RA patients, thereby mitigating the potential for future osteoporosis and fractures. Bony proliferations in rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and osteoarthritis using high ‐resolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography—A systematic literature review
ConclusionBPs showed disease-specific variations in location, size, and number. Results regarding treatment-related effects are sparse. An agreement on the definition and measurement technique for BPs using HR-pQCT is warranted for diagnostic accuracy, disease comparability, and monitoring potential. Myofibrillar myopathies due to a novel mutation in exon 8 of the LDB3 gene
AbstractMyofibrillar myopathies (MFMs) are a group of genetically heterogeneous diseases affecting the skeletal and cardiac muscles. Myofibrillar myopathies are characterized by focal lysis of myogenic fibers and integration of degraded myogenic fiber products into inclusion bodies, which are typically rich in desmin and many other proteins. Herein, we report a case of a 54-year-old woman who experienced bilateral thigh weakness for over three  years. She was diagnosed with MFMs based on muscle biopsy findings and the presence of a novel mutation in exon 8 of the LDB3 gene. Myofibrillar myopathies caused by a mutation in...

FTO overexpression inhibits the invasion and migration of rheumatoid arthritis fibroblast ‐like synoviocytes by suppressing miR‐126‐5p
ConclusionFTO overexpression curtailed miR-126-5p by diminishing the m6A modification level of pri-miR-126-5p, subsequently enhancing FOXO3 expression and restraining the invasion and migration of RA-FLSs. (Source: International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases)
