Well ‐controlled disease activity with drug treatment will not improve the frailty status of RA patients to robust state: A multicenter observational study (T‐FLAG)
ConclusionsDrug treatment to maintain well-controlled disease activity alone is insufficient for improving patients' frailty status after achieving treat-to-target goals, suggesting the need for multifaceted approaches. (Source: International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases)

Diagnostic delay and its associated factors in Chinese axial spondyloarthritis: A single ‐center study of 1295 patients
ConclusionOur findings depicted a detailed spectrum of diagnostic delay in Chinese axSpA, verified five associated factors that may help facilitate timely diagnosis of axSpA, and pinpointed that timely medication was unsatisfying, especially in the late diagnosis group. Efficacy of baricitinib for the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus patients: A meta ‐analysis of randomized controlled trials
ConclusionIn treating SLE patients, administrating a higher dose of baricitinib (4 mg) may be effective. However, additional RCTs in different populations with larger sample sizes are required to validate our findings. (Source: International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases)

Clinical manifestations and outcomes associated with PICU admission in children with multisystem inflammatory syndrome in Taiwan: A retrospective cohort study
ConclusionMIS-C cases in Taiwan have a favorable outcome. Although one-third of the patients required PICU admission, none of the MIS-C cases resulted in severe cardiovascular morbidity or mortality. This study provides valuable insights into the clinical manifestations and outcomes associated with PICU admission in children with MIS-C in Taiwan. Role of hydrogels in osteoarthritis: A comprehensive review
AbstractOsteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic, degenerative, and age-related disease. It is characterized by chronic inflammation, progressive articular cartilage destruction, and subchondral bone sclerosis. The current effective treatment for OA is limited. Hydrogel is a kind of unique carrier with well-known biocompatibility, softness, and high water content among various biomaterials. Hydrogels are developed for different biomedical applications, for instance, drug delivery, and tissue engineering. To date, a variety of hydrogels-based therapies have been used in OA patients or animal models. In this review, we comprehensive...

Effect of atorvastatin on muscle tissues of dermatomyositis and antisynthetase syndrome patients with dyslipidemia
ConclusionAtorvastatin did not promote significant changes in the expression of genes related to mitochondrial, oxidative, insulin, lipid, and fibrogenic pathways in the muscle tissues of DM and ASS patients with dyslipidemia. Atorvastatin did not also promote histological and histochemical changes in muscle tissues. Our results reinforce the safety of the administration of atorvastatin to treat dyslipidemia in patients with DM and ASS. (Source: International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases)
