Effect of admission serum glucose on the clinical prognosis of patients with acute ischemic stroke receiving alteplase intravenous thrombolysis
Conclusions: In patients with acute ischemic stroke receiving intravenous alteplase thrombolytic therapy, a higher admission serum glucose level is an independent predictor of adverse neurological outcomes at 90 days postoperatively.PMID:37771034 | PMC:PMC10540570 | DOI:10.1177/03946320231204597 (Source: International Journal of Immunopathology and Pharmacology)

Down-regulation of interleukin-2 predicts poor prognosis and associated with immune escape in lung adenocarcinoma
Conclusion: Our results indicate that down-regulation of IL2 predicts poor prognosis and is associated with immune escape in LUAD, and IL2 could serve as a potential novel prognostic biomarker of LUAD.PMID:37731383 | PMC:PMC10515527 | DOI:10.1177/03946320231202748 (Source: International Journal of Immunopathology and Pharmacology)

Drug repositioning of anti-microbial agent nifuratel to treat mast cell-mediated allergic responses
Conclusion: Our findings suggest that nifuratel inhibits pathways essential for the activation of mast cells to suppress anaphylaxis, thereby indicating that the anti-microbial drug, nifuratel, could be a potential drug candidate for IgE-mediated allergic disorders.PMID:37706235 | PMC:PMC10503296 | DOI:10.1177/03946320231202349 (Source: International Journal of Immunopathology and Pharmacology)
