Identification and development of TP53 mutation-associated Long non-coding RNAs signature for optimized prognosis assessment and treatment selection in hepatocellular carcinoma
CONCLUSION: The present study aimed to identify and validate LncRNAs associated with TP53 mutations. We constructed a prognostic model that can predict chemosensitivity and response to ICB therapy in HCC patients. This novel approach sheds light on the role of LncRNAs in TP53 mutation and provides valuable resources for analyzing patient prognosis and treatment selection.PMID:37942552 | PMC:PMC10637161 | DOI:10.1177/03946320231211795 (Source: International Journal of Immunopathology and Pharmacology)

Renal venous malformation misdiagnosed as carcinoma: A report of one case and the review of literature
Int J Immunopathol Pharmacol. 2023 Jan-Dec;37:3946320231214117. doi: 10.1177/03946320231214117.ABSTRACTThe present study reports the clinical data of a patient with renal venous malformation misdiagnosed as carcinoma. CT revealed hematocele in the left renal pelvis and ureter. CTU: the left renal pelvis and calyces showed a slightly high density shadow, a size of about 2.6 cm*1.5 cm, and mild-to-moderate enhancement was found at the edge of the lesion. Enhanced MR showed that irregular mass abnormal signal was observed in the lower calyx of the left kidney and the lesions were cast, with short T1 and slightly long T2 signa...

Novel anti-amyloid-beta (A β) monoclonal antibody lecanemab for Alzheimer's disease: A systematic review
CONCLUSIONS: Lecanemab therapy led to a substantial decrease in amyloid plaques and a noticeable slowing of clinical decline. The findings suggest a meaningful connection between the reduction in amyloid and the positive impact on patients' clinical outcomes, hinting at potential disease-modifying effects.PMID:37902139 | PMC:PMC10617290 | DOI:10.1177/03946320231209839 (Source: International Journal of Immunopathology and Pharmacology)

Analysis of mitochondrial function in lymphocytes obtained from COVID-19 patients
CONCLUSION: SCMM-CD8 could act as a diagnostic biomarker of COVID-19 progression. However, this needs to be verified in other multi-center studies with a larger sample size.PMID:37889851 | PMC:PMC10612433 | DOI:10.1177/03946320231210736 (Source: International Journal of Immunopathology and Pharmacology)

Inhibition of GPR30 sensitized gefitinib to NSCLC cells via regulation of epithelial-mesenchymal transition
Conclusion: Taken together, these data suggested that G15 could enhance NSCLC sensitivity to gefitinib by inhibition of GPR30 and EMT.PMID:37890097 | PMC:PMC10612443 | DOI:10.1177/03946320231210737 (Source: International Journal of Immunopathology and Pharmacology)
