Characteristics of Allergen Components of < b > < i > Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus < /i > < /b > in Shrimp and Mite Co-Sensitized Patients in Southern China
Conclusion: Among patients with Dp sensitization, Der p 1 had the highest positive rate, followed by Der p 2 and Der p 23. Meanwhile, Der p 10 may play an important role in patients with shrimp sensitization, while Der p 7 may be the meaningful allergen component in patients with Dp sensitization alone. In general, component-resolved diagnosis technology in clinical practice can effectively guide patients with polysensitization to avoid allergic substances.Int Arch Allergy Immunol (Source: International Archives of Allergy and Immunology)

HDAC Downregulation of Xiaoqinglong Decoction in the Treatment of Allergic Rhinitis
Conclusions: In conclusion, our findings present the beneficial effects of XQLD on AR and recovery of the nasal epithelium. We also identify the decreased HDAC as a potential target of XQLD for AR treatment. This study provides an important experimental proof for elucidating the therapeutic mechanism of XQLD.Int Arch Allergy Immunol (Source: International Archives of Allergy and Immunology)

Nasal Provocation Challenges with < b > < i > Aedes aegypti < /i > < /b > Whole-Body Extract Induces Allergic Rhinitis
Discussion: Mosquitoes are perennial in most tropical areas, and their body allergens could be associated with respiratory allergies.Int Arch Allergy Immunol (Source: International Archives of Allergy and Immunology)

Comparison of Omalizumab Treatment Response in Patients with Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria and Symptomatic Dermographism: A Single-Center Retrospective Study
Conclusion: Omalizumab treatment improved disease control and quality of life in patients with SDerm. The findings of this study should be supported by randomized placebo-controlled studies.Int Arch Allergy Immunol (Source: International Archives of Allergy and Immunology)

Allergic Polysensitization Clusters: Newly Recognized Severity Marker in Urban Asthmatic Adults
Conclusion: This pilot study showed that allergic polysensitization, using readily available qualitative and quantitative in vitro sensitization data, largely ignored in cluster analyses to date, may add further clinical precision in cluster analyses of asthma. We suggest the methods used here can be applied and tested using larger databases and aeroallergens present in diverse geographic regions.Int Arch Allergy Immunol (Source: International Archives of Allergy and Immunology)

Clinical Characteristics of Anaphylaxis in Children Aged 0 –16 Years in Xi’an, China
Conclusions: Males are overrepresented in children with anaphylaxis, and food and drugs are common triggers in children. However, the types of common food triggers differ across age groups, and infants are more likely to have cardiovascular compromise and a reduced level of consciousness. However, the use of epinephrine remains inadequate. The training of clinical staff in recognizing anaphylaxis needs to be strengthened.Int Arch Allergy Immunol (Source: International Archives of Allergy and Immunology)

Multistrain Probiotics Supplement Alleviates Asthma Symptoms via Increasing Treg Cells Population: A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial
Conclusion: Our findings demonstrate that 8-week treatment with probiotic supplementation can control T-helper 2-predominant and Th17 pro-inflammatory responses and improve forced vital and forced expiratory volume in asthmatic patients. It seems probiotics can be used besides common treatments for patients with asthma.Int Arch Allergy Immunol (Source: International Archives of Allergy and Immunology)

Epitope-Specific IgE at 1 Year of Age Can Predict Peanut Allergy Status at 5 Years
Conclusion: IgE antibody profiles at 1 year of age are predictive of peanut OFC at 5 years in children avoiding peanuts. If further confirmed, this model may enable early identification of infants who may benefit from early immunotherapeutic interventions.Int Arch Allergy Immunol (Source: International Archives of Allergy and Immunology)

Chronic Rhinosinusitis in Patients with Primary Immunodeficiency
Conclusion: Chronic rhinosinusitis is more common in patients with primary immunodeficiencies than in the normal population. For effective treatment, it is necessary to identify the factors that cause chronic rhinosinusitis. Further studies involving larger patient populations are needed to explain the mechanisms of chronic rhinosinusitis.Int Arch Allergy Immunol (Source: International Archives of Allergy and Immunology)

Association between 19 Allergens and Chronic Constipation in Adults: NHANES 2005 –2006
Conclusion: The results of this study demonstrate an inverse relationship between sIgE sensitization and chronic constipation in adults. However, the specific association mechanism needs to be further studied.Int Arch Allergy Immunol (Source: International Archives of Allergy and Immunology)

Exploring the Heterogeneity of IgE-Mediated Food Allergy through Latent Class Analysis
In this study, we aimed to investigate distinct subgroups among patients with FAs using data from 524 children/adolescents.Methods: 524 patients with IgE-mediated FA (353 male [67%]; median age 4.4 years [IQR:3.0 –6.8]), 354 (68%) had multiple FA. The history of AD, asthma, AR, and anaphylaxis was recorded in 59.4%, 35.5%, 24.2%, and 51.2% of the patients, respectively. Latent class analysis was carried out to distinguish clinical FA phenotypes using five potential markers of allergy severity (single/multi ple FA, never/inactive/current asthma and AD, AR, and anaphylaxis). Results: Three distinct phenotypes were identifie...
