Expression of calcitonin gene-related peptide in atopic dermatitis and correlation with distress
CONCLUSIONS: CGRP may have a role in both the inflammatory process and distress, in AD.PMID:37676055 | DOI:10.1080/08923973.2023.2253988 (Source: Immunopharmacology and Immunotoxicology)

Withaferin A suppressed hepatocellular carcinoma progression through inducing IGF2BP3/FOXO1/JAK2/STAT3 pathway-mediated ROS production
Conclusions: WA-induced ROS inhibited HCC cell growth and migration through the inhibition of IGF2BP3 to deactivate JAK2/STAT3 signaling, resulting in increased FOXO1 expression to further stimulate ROS production and inhibit JAK2/STAT3 signaling.PMID:37671837 | DOI:10.1080/08923973.2023.2247552 (Source: Immunopharmacology and Immunotoxicology)

Leptin/lipopolysaccharide-treated dendritic cell vaccine improved cellular immune responses in an animal model of breast cancer
CONCLUSION: Compared to the Leptin-treated mDC and LPS-treated mDC vaccines, the Leptin/LPS-treated mDC vaccine was more effective in inhibiting BC development and boosting immune responses against tumor.PMID:37647347 | DOI:10.1080/08923973.2023.2253989 (Source: Immunopharmacology and Immunotoxicology)

Icariin decreases cell proliferation and inflammation of rheumatoid arthritis-fibroblast like synoviocytes via GAREM1/MAPK signaling pathway
Conclusion: Our findings suggest that icariin treatment can alleviate the development of RA by reducing cell proliferation and inflammation in RA-FLS through the regulation of the GAREM1/MAPK signaling pathway. These results support the potential of icariin as a therapeutic agent for RA treatment. As icariin is safe and well-tolerated in previous studies, further research is warranted to explore its efficacy in clinical settings.PMID:37647355 | DOI:10.1080/08923973.2023.2253990 (Source: Immunopharmacology and Immunotoxicology)
