Comparison of the soluble fms-like tyrosine kinase 1/ placental growth factor-ratio alone versus a multi-marker regression model for the prediction of preeclampsia-related adverse outcomes after 34 weeks of gestation
Conclusions: Integrating angiogenic biomarkers in a regression model improved the prediction of preeclampsia-related adverse outcomes in women at risk after 34 weeks of gest ation. (Source: Fetal Diagnosis and Therapy)

Sonographic Assessment of Fetal Sex: More than External Genitalia
Early identification of fetal sex is possible due to both improved ultrasound resolution and the incorporation of cell-free DNA testing into routine prenatal screening services. While ultrasound assessment of the external genitalia generally suffices, there are instances where identification of the internal genitalia becomes vital to allow accurate prenatal diagnosis and comprehensive counseling. This manuscript outlines the methodology and clinical utility of assessing fetal genitalia beyond conventional sonography from the second trimester onward and is the first to describe direct visualization of the fetal vagina.Fetal...

Sonographic assessment of fetal sex - more than external genitalia.
Early identification of fetal sex is possible due to both improved ultrasound resolution and the incorporation of cell-free DNA (cfDNA) testing into routine prenatal screening services. This manuscript outlines the methodology and clinical utility of assessing fetal genitalia beyond conventional sonography, from the second trimester onwards and is the first to describe direct visualization of the fetal v...

Flexible video fetoscopy: feasibility and outcomes of a novel modality for laser therapy in twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome presenting with inaccessible anterior placenta
Discussion: Flexible video fetoscopy for completion of laser coagulation of place ntal anastomosis is feasible and represents a good option for TTTS cases presenting after 20 weeks with inaccessible anterior placenta. (Source: Fetal Diagnosis and Therapy)

Case report: prenatal recurrent microcephaly and corpus callosum abnormalities in a Chinese family with novel biallelic SASS6 mutations
Conclusion: We reported novel biallelic variants in the SASS6 gene, encoding the SAS6 centriolar assembly protein, associated with prenatal onset of autosomal recessive microcephaly. We postulate that the pathomechanism of the compound heterozygous variants in close proximity could potentiate the overall coiled instability leading to the phenotypic features of our case.
