Remote and in-person research education for people with Parkinson’s disease and their care partners.
Conclusions: TeleDREAMS may improve health literacy in participants with Parkinson’s and their care partners. If increased advocacy and health and research literacy translates to increased research involvement, then TeleDREAMS could be an important strategy for researchers interested in increasing participation. The psychological well-being and physical health of sandwiched caregivers in the United States: A scoping review.
Conclusions: Future research should direct more attention to the examination of sandwiched caregivers’ physical health and those of minority status given that multigenerational care occurs at greater rates in these populations. Additionally, a systems perspective would allow for the examination of the impact of sandwiched caregiving on other family members. ACEs screening in adolescent primary care: Psychological flexibility as a moderator.

Just ask: Promoting inclusive and holistic sexual health in primary care.
While the full scope of sexual health treatment is unlikely to ever be exclusively provided in primary care, it is increasingly important that interdisciplinary teams are poised to address this issue more effectively and comprehensively than we currently are. Providers need to seek out training and resources as they work toward meeting recently articulated competencies in an effort to provide whole person care. And, in the meantime, open the door to conversations about holistic sexual health by simply asking patients about their experiences. Don Bloch award acceptance comments.
In the words of the author and recipient: "It is indeed a career-topping honor to receive the Don Bloch Award from Collaborative Family Healthcare Association (CFHA). I want to thank the CFHA Board for its generosity in bestowing this honor, and I am, indeed, humbled to be accepted into the prestigious company of prior Don Bloch Award recipients. I did not have a role in inventing collaborative care, like so many of the preceding awardees. But as a practicing family physician and a leader in academic family medicine and primary care, I recognized the need for this movement in my field of practice and have worked hard to ma...

The thrill of getting lost in the labyrinth of research.
This poem expresses the joy of finding a jadestone (i.e., an unexpected solution to a challenging research problem) in the serendipitous process of discovery. Scholars feel as if they are wandering through the Library of Babel in an endless maze because they are walking the path of unanswered research. Only in the “Aha!,” the rare moment when we become immersed in our work with such a pure heart like Nietzsche’s child¹ do we discover our creative solution has already been found without our realizing it.
