Manual therapy - possible method for premenstrual syndrome relief
Background: Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) occurs in the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle. PMS is characterized by psychological symptoms (mood swings, feeling sad or angry, motivation decrease) and physical symptoms such as breast tenderness, headache, or muscle pain. Can the risks associated with uterine fibroids morcellation be prevented?
In this study, we evaluate the safety and efficacy of laparoscopic myomectomy, LSH, TLH and laparotomy in management of uterine fibroids and risk of uterine sarcoma. A retrospective observational study was conducted. We examined all clinical charts of women who had undergone laparoscopy and laparotomy due to uterine bleeding or uterine fibroids.
