Structural modifications toward improved lead-203/lead-212 peptide-based image-guided alpha-particle radiopharmaceutical therapies for neuroendocrine tumors
ConclusionStructural modifications to chelator and linker compositions improved tumor targeting and pharmacokinetics (PK) of203/212Pb peptide-based radiopharmaceuticals for NET theranostics. These findings suggest that PSC-PEG2-TOC is a promising candidate for Pb-based targeted radionuclide therapy for NETs and other types of cancers that express SSTR2. Comparison of the diagnostic value of [68  Ga]Ga-FAPI-04 PET/MR and [18F]FDG PET/CT in patients with T stage ≤ 2a2 uterine cervical cancer: a prospective study
Conclusion[68 Ga]Ga-FAPI-04 PET/MR and [18F]FDG PET/CT demonstrated an equivalent detection ability on cervical cancer primary tumors. However, [68 Ga]Ga-FAPI-04 PET/MR’s diagnostic value in lymph node metastasis was significantly higher than [18F]FDG PET/CT. [68 Ga]Ga-FAPI-04 PET/MR has the potential for more accurate treatment planning, thus clarifying fertility preservation indications for early-stage young patients. The regional pattern of age-related synaptic loss in the human brain differs from gray matter volume loss: in vivo PET measurement with [11C]UCB-J
ConclusionMRI and [11]C-UCB-J PET showed age-related decreases of gray matter volume, synaptic density, and blood flow; however, the regional patterns of the reductions in volume and SV2A binding were different. Those patterns suggest that MR-based measures of GM volume may not be directly representative of synaptic density. (Source: European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging)
