Surgical evidence-based comparison of [68Ga]Ga-FAPI-04 PET and MRI-DWI for assisting debulking surgery in ovarian cancer patients
Conclusion[68Ga]Ga-FAPI-04 PET is more efficient in assisting debulking surgery in ovarian cancer patients than MRI-DWI. Integrated [68Ga]Ga-FAPI-04 PET/MR imaging is a potential method for planning debulking surgery in ovarian cancer patients. (Source: European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging)

Impact on cardiovascular outcome of coronary revascularization-induced changes in ischemic perfusion defect and myocardial flow reserve
ConclusionsIn patients with stable CAD, worsening of ITPD and MFR after revascularization procedures is associated with higher risk of cardiovascular events. Follow-up MPI with82Rb PET/CT may improve risk stratification in patients submitted to coronary revascularization. (Source: European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging)

Platelet-derived growth factor receptor β-targeted positron emission tomography imaging for the noninvasive monitoring of liver fibrosis
ConclusionsPDGFR β is a reliable biomarker for both human and mouse aHSCs. PDGFRβ-targeted PET imaging could be used for noninvasive monitoring of liver fibrosis in mice and has great potential for clinical translation. (Source: European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging)

Surgical radioguidance with beta-emitting radionuclides; challenges and possibilities: A position paper by the EANM
AbstractRadioguidance that makes use of β-emitting radionuclides is gaining in popularity and could have potential to strengthen the range of existing radioguidance techniques. While there is a strong tendency to develop new PET radiotracers, due to favorable imaging characteristics and the success of theranostics research, there are pra ctical challenges that need to be overcome when considering use of β-emitters for surgical radioguidance. In this position paper, the EANM identifies the possibilities and challenges that relate to the successful implementation of β-emitters in surgical guidance, covering aspects relate...

A comparison of visual assessment and semi-quantification for the diagnostic and prognostic use of [18F]flortaucipir PET in a memory clinic cohort
ConclusionOur results show that visual assessment is reliable for defining tau status and stages in a memory clinic population. The high inter-rater reliability, the substantial agreement, and the similar diagnostic and prognostic performance of visual rating and semi-quantitative methods demonstrate that [18F]flortaucipir PET can be robustly assessed visually in clinical practice. [18F]SynVesT-1 and [18F]FDG quantitative PET imaging in the presurgical evaluation of MRI-negative children with focal cortical dysplasia type II
ConclusionsThe multivariate prediction model based on [18F]SynVesT-1 and [18F]FDG PET/QPET assessments holds promise in noninvasively identifying epileptogenic regions in MRI-negative children with FCD II. Furthermore, the combination of visual assessment and QPET may improve the sensitivity and specificity of diagnostic tests in localizing epileptogenic foci and achieving a preferable surgical outcome in MRI-negative FCD II.
