The effect of renal impairment and obesity on anti-Xa peak and trough levels in patients receiving therapeutic doses of nadroparin: a comparison with control patients
ConclusionIn renal impairment, anti-Xa peak levels after dose reduction are comparable to those in controls. Weight-based dosing is suitable for obese patients. Aiming for peak levels between 0.6 and 1.0  IU/mL in these patients would result in overexposure compared to controls. Considering the association of trough levels and bleeding risk and our findings, trough monitoring seems to be a suitable parameter to identify nadroparin accumulation. Prevalence, trends, and individual patterns of long-term antidepressant medication use in the adult Swiss general population
ConclusionThe proportion of long-term users in Switzerland is high and steadily increasing. Given the ongoing debate about the confounding effects of relapse and withdrawal, more research is needed to investigate longer use of antidepressants that could indicate overprescribing. Cost-effectiveness of brentuximab vedotin in Hodgkin lymphoma: a systematic review
ConclusionAvailable economic evaluations show that using BV as front-line treatment or consolidation therapy is not cost-effective based on specific ICER thresholds for patients with HL or R/R HL. To decide on this orphan drug, we should consider other factors such as existence of alternative treatment options, clinical benefits, and disease burden. The beneficial use of nitric oxide during cardiopulmonary bypass on postoperative outcomes in children and adult patients: a systematic review and meta-analysis of 2897 patients
ConclusionUsing inhaled nitric oxide during cardiopulmonary bypass reduces the length of stay in the intensive care unit, and for children, it reduces the duration of mechanical ventilation. (Source: European Journal of Clinical Pharmacology)

Effect of aspirin on incidence, recurrence, and mortality in prostate cancer patients: integrating evidence from randomized controlled trials and real-world studies
ConclusionsThis meta-analysis revealed an independent correlation between the use of aspirin and reductions in both the incidence and mortality rates of PCa. However, randomized controlled trials did not find any association between aspirin use and PCa. Furthermore, the impact of aspirin on PCa occurrence was found to be dependent on both dosage and duration. (Source: European Journal of Clinical Pharmacology)

Therapeutic drug monitoring of voriconazole and CYP2C19 phenotype for dose optimization in paediatric patients
ConclusionsThe VRC plasma trough concentration is significantly influenced by the CYP2C19 phenotype. The recommended maintenance dose for pediatric patients may not be appropriate for Chinese patients. To increase the probability of achieving the therapeutic range for VRC plasma trough concentration, the administration of VRC should consider the age of paediatric patients and the presence of CYP2C19 polymorphisms.
